3 Beauty Products You Should Have in Your Purse

Some beauty products were built for being on the go. Most of us don't think twice before tossing another lip gloss or mascara in our purse before we leave the house.

I find myself cleaning out my purse at least once a month. Ridding it of a few tubes of this and that. But as we dive deeper into summer, there are a few extra beauty products I've been taking along with me.

Not all of these are strictly make-up related, but they're important enough to have as part of your daily beauty routine.

Here are a few of my favorite beauty products I'm keeping in my purse this summer.

SheerZinc SPF 30

Especially here in Portland, where you might end up on a hike or sitting outdoors for brunch, keeping sunblock on you is a must. This DermaQuest SheerZinc is my go-to when it comes to my face. It's designed to protect your skin from harmful UVA, UVB, and infrared rays. In fact, I like it so much it was also on our top summer products list

What makes it a beauty product? As it protects your skin it's also moisturizing and hydrating it. It's designed specifically for sensitive skin, and even helps with acne breakouts.

So, the next time you leave the house for a fun day out with friends, make sure you're taking this along.

Glo Protecting Powder SPF 20

This hot weather can give us a dewy glow that we're not always a fan of. One way I combat the sweat is to reapply a little bit of Glo's Protecting Powder.

This beauty product is a loose powder that's easy to apply no matter where you are thanks to the built in brush. It's perfect for summer because of the extra dose of SPF protection it gives you.

Protecting Powder is part of Glo's amazing Melt-Proof Make-up line, which I've always been a fan of. But this compact, on-the-go powder is one of my must-haves for a day (or night) out.

Moxie Plumping Lip Gloss

Alright, here it is, the lip gloss I always have in my purse. This Bare Minerals gloss comes with naturally derived peptides to make lips look fuller. Unlike most glosses, this isn't extra sticky, so it's easy to have on even on a windy day.

It comes in a variety of colors, from subtle to bright, and I actually feel like it helps lips look plumper. I can't say the same for some other beauty products that say they do the same thing.

There are so many beauty products out there that deserve a little time in our purse. These just happen to me three of my favorites (especially for the season). Let me know what some of your favorites are in the comments!
